A new Library Teacher is in town

Today was my first day as the new Library Teacher at Pollard Middle School, which has over 1100 students in grades 6-8. I will be responsible for teaching information literacy skills in collaboration with classroom teachers, as well as booktalking titles to students and advising a small group of 6th grade students.

This blog will contain interesting things that happen in the Media Center, as well as booktalks of middle school and Young Adult titles. The theme of the Media Center is “bloom @ your library.” Stay tuned for more information in the coming days.
